60 Years of Momentum

Higher education should be available to all, regardless of race, religion or income. In 1967 Central Florida, this was a radical idea. Over the 60 years since, it’s become the foundational statement of one of the nation’s largest community colleges.

At Valencia College,

Open access has benefited more than 220,000 alumni.
We now serve more than 78,000 students each year across ten locations in Orange and Osceola counties.
We are now a state college, offering 170+ career, associate and bachelor’s degree programs.
All this, while still maintaining the lowest tuition in Central Florida, with an associate degree costing around $6,000.

We have no intention of slowing down.

Valencia College continues to gain momentum with forward-thinking programming, innovative ways to serve students and valuable partnerships with community leaders and local industries.

Making a positive impact

Valencia College was born from the idea of access for all and we’ve been gaining momentum since day one. Today, college leadership, faculty and staff are committed to four operational and educational pillars.
