Financial Aid and Scholarships
Valencia College participates in most federal, state and local financial aid programs. Some financial aid programs and scholarships are based on financial need, while others are based on academic success.
Valencia College has the lowest tuition of any public college in Central Florida with tuition and fees costing about half the cost of a state university. Financial aid to degree-seeking Valencia College students is available in many forms, including grants and scholarships which don’t need to be repaid; student loans which require repayment; and work study. Valencia College financial aid advisors are available to help you at every step of the process, from application through disbursement.
To apply for opportunities, you must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can be done as early as January each year. To have your FAFSA information sent to Valencia College, use the code: 006750.
Valencia College has specialists at First Stop on each campus to help you complete your FAFSA, access financial aid records and discuss your personal financial situation with you.
