(Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000)

If you’re captivated with the heart and interested in working side-by-side with cardiologists to diagnose and treat heart disease and vascular problems, this could be the right career for you. CVTs perform the following tasks:

  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disease
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization and balloon angioplasty procedures
  • Work closely with the physician in caring for cardiac patients
